Hola-
Hi world. It has probably been a while since I have written. Things are going really well right now. I got a new job working as a "third" or "float" at a nursery school .. basically, there is the head teacher, then the assistant teacher, then me. So far it has been great- and challenging!- working with 15 three-year-olds.
Other than that life is going well. I have my two jobs and I am applying for graduate school to get a masters in education. I was trying to decide between Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2). It seems to me like ECE is more specified, and more interested in development and things like that, which interests me. Also, I think it would be easier to progress to the higher grades with an ECE masters than to transition down to the youngest years with just a Childhood Education Masters. I am applying to Hunter College ..... and I really hope I get in! I'll have to figure out how to pay for the degree - but in the long run it will be a good investment I'm sure.
I hope everyone is well!
Debbie
