Hello! I'm in New York now on Spring Break with Jesse. It's been really nice seeing him. There has been some badness I'll admit - I think its from the pressure on both of us to have an AMAZING time together while still relaxing for spring break. New york is great - weve walked around a bit, we went to hoboken today and had tapas with Jesse's dad, we went to the american natural history museum, walked in central park, relaxed. its been really nice. i have a lot of shit to do still including reading a book =o. so yeah, thats about it. i dont have much to add, just wanted to drop a line! miss you all, and ill talk to you later

Hey hey. Things are pretty good here ... well, except for the massive snow storm. Its March 16th - its absurd. Grrrrrrrrr. I had an aRTH 101 exam today .. it went alright. I just glad it over so I can stop thinking about all the dates and artists and genres etc etc. Ummmmmmmmmmm I went to a lecture about John Calvin Stevens and the Shingle Stlye in Maine ... very good. Afterwards there was a reception with asparagus and cheese and crackers and wine ( and yes, i did have a glass muuhahaha). I'm not stressin too much. I went to a concert the other night at the pub here on campus and saw a really great band - I got their cd so thats nice ; a good cd always adds a little something to my life. Oh .. its The Elected, their cd Me First. Hmmmm thats about it! I should be leaving on Friday to go to NY - Jesse is, in fact, on a plane right now heading over there (or over here, depends on how you look at it). Ohh .. this is minor, but it sucks so I'll tell yalls. I needed Ferggy Werggy to write me a statment basically saying : lexia in berlin looks fine, that course work looks challanging, deb sould get credit. SO i left the information about lexia with him for two weeks and he finally got the letter to me and its a recommendation ..you know, deb is a good student, shes dedicated bla bla. So i feel bad but i jsut wrote him an emai lsaying like ... ahhh, thats not what i wanted!! And i feel really bad, because he's a busy busy guy .... but it had to be done. alright, I have shiiiiiiiite to do, so im gonna go do that.
"what else is there to do besides relax" (PUTS) .. i cant wait until Spring Break!!!!

Hewo. So I'm sorta stressin. All of a sudden everything seems to weighing on top of me and me knees are beginning to buckle. Applying to internships, petitioning to Wellesley to get my Abroad Program approved, Applying to go abroad, school work, final papers, exams .... its just all here and now and I don't know how to deal with all. I mean I do .. Im exagerating slightly .... but the feeligns I have when I think of ALL the things looming in front of me really is daunting. Good news: My first internship application is IN THE MAIL. Woohoo! A little piece of me is in the mail .. I hope it appeals to them. Spring Break isn't so far away .. I can't WAIT. Some nice time to spend with Jess, to see Cher, to relax (but not too much ... since I have lots of stuff to do for internships)....to SEE JESS!!! Gosh now that its so close its like everything I see that slightly reminds me of significant others pierces my heart.. wow..im so dramatic right now! But, it has a grain of truth. Well .. for any of you out there who are curious as to the internship I applied for it is at the Battery Conservancy and here is the description of the battery and the Interns responsibilities :

The Battery, a 23-acre park located at the tip of Manhattan, is the largest public open space in Lower Manhattan. It is the gateway to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, welcoming over four million tourists and 60,000 daily commuters. The Battery Conservancy, a private nonprofit, was created to revitalize the park and build the ultimate public space by implementing a plan that replaces asphalt with gardens, increases waterfront access, and develops other innovative ideas.

****** The Conservancy is seeking an Intern to research and report on paintings by the artist Andrew Melrose that depict The Battery and its major landmark Castle Clinton National Museum (ca.1811). In addition, the Intern will research films that were filmed in or feature The Battery. Interest in historic and artistic research preferred.********

So yeah, it looks sooooo cool ... but I'm not going to get my hopes up considering they have ONE intern and I have no idea how large the applicant pool is .. maybe up to 200...maybe more =O

Well alright, real work needs to be done now

Hola. Its 148 am and I'm in a great mood. Ive worked pretty hard this week and I finally paid myself back by watching Hannah and her Sisters. Jesse bought it for me for my birthday....its one of my absolute favorite movies. I recommend it to anyone - and if you've seen it, see it again!! Tommorow is Friday and I have two classes, two el table shifts (one of which is closing) and babysitting. Caitlin is going to be away this weekend (Fri 10am to Sunday afternoon) so I'll have a single. I don't have any plans, but itd be nice to get off campus maybe saturday night. Staying on campus gets so boring ... same people, nothing new. I got a partner for my Buddhism paper (yes, paper, and yes, partner) by emailing a girl i kinda kinda knew - so I'm glad thats figured out. Welllll thats about it!! I'm starting to write cover letters for internships for the summer ....im applying to 4 (maybe 5 .. if I apply to the Museum of Natural History) internships through Everett (paid) and I'm going to write to a Landscape Architecture Firm and an old Landscape Architect Wellesley Alum. Its all happening so quickly -My first app. is due on the 14th - YoW! One day at a time I guess. Alright, its time for bed. I'll keep yalls updated!
