Greetings all! The pause in my blogging is because I was on a trip for a week and couldn't get to a computer. I was in Aix-en-Provence in the South of France visiting Caitlin...it was suuuuper fun. Aix is super small ... with windy medieval streets and cute plazas and boutique stores. We traveled to a chateaux, went to Cassis, a beach on the South coast, and to Marsielle. We also went to see this big dam with bright blue water and take a mini hike. I was actually very impressed with the ammount of stuff we did .. Cait was a very good host. Ooh..and I got to go to the Wellesley in Aix final banquet ... oh man was it good. We had a specific alcohol man who gave us a variety of alcohols to go with each course, of which we had 4. And we were sitting outside in this beautiful garden surrounded by vine growing roses and lavendar bushes. We ate asparagus cream (served on spoons!) and chicken stuffed with truffles to name a few of the dishes. It was really good timing on my part ... because I got to go for free and have probably one of the fanciest meals I have ever had.

So now Im back in Berlin .. and Jesse is also done with all of his school work .. so we're both free to do as we choose! Weve just relaxed today, went to a great market, got some chai tea and samosas ..and now we are at the center. I only have a few more days in Berlin until I head back to my home land ... I can't believe it went so fast! One thing Jesse really wants to see before we leave is Peacock Island ... which is basically as it sounds. Its accessible by public transportation, and I think it was created as a sort of pleasure garden for some rich and powerful person, but I don't know exactly who. It sounds really cool to me!So yes, that and some good ole' relaxin.
