Hey there world
I'm working on a paper right now in my room - and its working out pretty nicely. My windows are open and its a beautiful day - I can't ask for much more.
So I have some news: I booked plane tickets to go visit Jesse at Stanford!! I'll be going between May 19th and May 25th....So I will arrive at 8pm on Friday and I will leave at 9pm on a Wednesday. I'm so excited!!!! I will be done with all of my finals (my last papers are DUE on the 19th) and Jesse probably won't have that much stuff to do at that point anyway. So I'll get to see Stanford and meet his friends and see San Francisco and just how he lives life over there on the left coast.
I'm so sososososos excited. I can't believe he has gone there for three full years and I have never visited! It's going to be great!
Yes, he has a single bed with one pillow, but we will get through that. And yes, I won't be able to eat at the dining hall be we will get through that too. What is nice is that since Stanford is co-ed I won't look out of place roaming the campus!
Alright, back to Carlo Crivelli, Oh, I'll post a picture of the painting I am writing about!
Love you all,
Deb

hey world
Howdy howdy! Its Sunday night and I am, of course, doing a lot of homework.
I was just thinking today - that I really really wish I could pause time. That way everything would stop, except I would still be able to work and get things done. So then I could take a good 5 or 10 hours and just do all of the shit I need to do ... read, write papers, apply to jobs, write e-mails ... and then after I got a big chunk of it done I could unpause everything I feel so much less stressed. man...if only that were possible!!
Those of you with more years under your belt ... does that feeling ever go away?!
Aggh, so yes, I am trudging along, trying to do a thousand things at once. Hope everyone is well!

So today is Marathon Monday - which means the Boston Marathon runners run by Wellesley and we all stand by the side of the road to cheer the runners on. Its called the Wellesley Scream Tunnel and its tons of fun for the runners and the Wellesley people..
We all had fun, it was a good day. At 4:30 the President of the college announced that this monring a girl from the class of 2007, a junior, was found dead in her room. It's really really sad. Two years ago a girl went missing on Marathon Monday and was found dead two days later behind her dorm ... they never really got into the details but we assumed it was suicide.
The whole thing is sad ..and confusing. I don't know if its the day that gets to people, or if its just a coincidence. Just thought you guys would like to know. Her name was Jennie Lee.

hey world
So this isn't incredibly newsworthy, but I thought it was funny:
Theres a bag company called world richman (ww.worldrichman.com). So hey! My name is pretty big out there in the world!
My job search is really frustrating me and generally making me upset with the world. And what makes it worse is that the more I look into things the worse I feel about the whole thing.
ARG!

hey everyone.
Its a pretty sunny day here, though cold. Yesterday it snowed - pretty heavily! - and and it was a sad reminder that Spring, though on the way, has not yet come.
The job search continues. Theres a summer camp job in NYC (Harlem) that looks really awesome, so I am working extra hard on my resume/cover letter for that application.
Back to work,
=),
Debbie
