its 415 .. im at work ... and I'm writing. Life is good ... Jess and I went to the country last weekend (from Saturday night at 7 until we left at 5pm on Sunday) so a very short visit. Its an hour and a half drive which really is nothing ... and we went to the pool on Sunday and had good food. IT was overall woooonderful. Now I'm back working ... grunt. I don't have much to say ... Cher is England. Deborah, my friend from Wellesley, moved into NYU dorms on sunday on 14th st .. sooo close. i haven't seen her yet but i plan to. well thats about it ! ill write more later.

I'm at work, looking up zip codes endlessly. I noticed my eyes were starting to close..so voila! BLOG TIME. Unfortunately today my computer screen can be seen by anyone who walks by ...so I feel I'm in constant danger. Thigns are great. I sent in the final peice of my abroad application which was my essay. I ordered an iPod which should be arriving today (if there is someone there to sign for it) aaaannnnnnddd jesse got a job! its doing boring things but he gets 12/hr and will work 40 hrs/week- so hes not complaining. plus we will be on a closer schedule...I'm 9-5 he's 10-6. Mmmmmm thats about it. I wrote Sam a letter yesterday which I will send soon, maybe tonight. I always forget to bring things down to the mailbox. Jess and I might go out to dinner tonight, to Grimaldi's or Lombardi's for some good pizza. yummmmyyyy. well ok, thats all for now!

Hola! It's 349 and I'm at work here at Arsenal North at 104th St and 5th Ave. Today from 10-3 I was out "on the field" with Diane ... we went from one lamp post to another checking whether the painting needed to be redone, if the numbers needed to be redone, etc etc. we drove around from one post to another use a GEM, an electric car. So yeah, it was fun. The lady I was working with was really annoying me yesterday but we got along fine today .. shes young so we just talked about stuff .. we played a betting game (no money) .. so as we approached a pole we would guess what work would need to be done .. for example i would yell out " contractor on the base on head!" and yeah, it was just fun. it was hot out but not too bad.

tonight jesse gets home .. it was going to be at 1145 pm but since he is catching an earlier flight it will be at 935 pm - so thats good. I'm suuuuuuuuuuuuuuper excited to see him. I am taking off work tommorow so that I can see him for a day .. im glad, I won't get paid for the day, but I think it will be more than worth it.

hey - this shall be quick because bed calls. But work has been good. My boss is basically too busy for me ... soI sort of bounce around from one person to another in the office. One lady, lane, has me doing some work on escel - basically researching the zip codes for 3000 addresses .... but that i have on the side in case jim (boss) and anyone else can't find me work. the conservancy is currently restoring the tiles from bethesda terrace ... so ive been working with a lady on taking pictures of the tiles, assesing the type of damage to the tiles .. etc. i also helped package them for shipping .. and right before i started she said " remember. these tiles are 130 years old and they are original and one of a kind. and they were designed by the creators of the park (ie olmstead and vaux) . so WOAH. i hope they got to DC ok =0

well thats about it on work stuff .......

life stuff has been okay, kinda bored. i dont have any plans for this weekend - but maybe ill stay at cher's one night .. or see caitlin. etc etc. jesse comes back on tuesday -- im SOOO excited. even though this quarter was shorter than before its just really hard now .. being in his house and in his room and seeing pictures of him and living with his brother (theyre reaalllly similar). so yes, cant wait!
